Course Description

Anomalies of the fetal chest:

A part of international course of “Practical Fetal Ultrasound”, aimed for fetal sonographers

This course (anomalies of the fetal chest): Confirm that, the left-sided heart with normal heart rate fills about one-third of the chest. Normal four-chamber view, long axis view of the great artery and three-vessel view are demonstrated. Normal thoracic size, normal lung echodensity, no abnormal mass and fluid collections must be confirmed. The common anomalies should always be kept in mind, including diaphragmatic hernia, cardiomegaly, atrial septal defects, ventricular septal defects, tetralogy of Fallot etc.
