Course Description
Anomalies of the fetal head:
A part of international course of “Practical Fetal Ultrasound”, aimed for fetal sonographers
This course (anomalies of the fetal head): during anatomical survey, be sure that at least three standard views of transventricular view, transthalamic view, and transcerebellar view are completely seen. Additionally, normal general appearance including skull shape, intact calvarium, and normal echodensity must be noted. Be sure no common anomalies such as hydrocephalus, anenecephaly, cystic lesions or abnormal mass in the brain, accounting for about 90% of the fetal head anomalies. Any suspicion on the possibility of malformation needs consultation or follow-up study.
