Course Description

Anomalies of the fetal skeleton:

A part of international course of “Practical Fetal Ultrasound”, aimed for fetal sonographers

This course (anomalies of the fetal skeleton): The limbs must always be visualized for the number of long bones, length, bone echodensity, pattern of movement and posture. The spine needs to confirm the integrity throughout in cross-section, and see each vertebra separately. Most common abnormalities of the limbs and spine should be kept in mind, including spina bifida, abnormal spinal curvature as a part of several syndrome, limb reduction, thatnatophoric dysplasia, abnormal hand and foot posture especially clubfoot and clenched hand.
