Proboscis

บทนำ

Proboscis หมายถึงงวงซึ่งเกิดจากพัฒนาการผิดปกติของจมูก เกือบทั้งหมดสัมพันธ์กับ hypotelorism (เบ้าตาใกล้กัน) และ holoprosencephaly และ trisomy 13 (1;2) เนื่องจากไม่พบเดี่ยว ๆ พยากรณ์จึงไม่ดี ไม่มีชีวิตรอดได้

ลักษณะทางคลื่นเสียงความถี่สูง

• ไม่พบจมูกปกติ แต่เป็นติ่งเนื้อยื่นออกมาแทน ซึ่งอาจมีรูเปิด 1-2 รู อยู่แนวกลางหน้า ที่ระดับเบ้าตา เหนือเบ้าตา หรือต่ำกว่าเบ้าตาก็ได้
• มักพบ holoprosencephaly, hypotelorism ร่วมด้วย
• การวินิจฉัยแยกโรคสำคัญได้แก Anterior cephalocele
• Hemangioma
