The holders of Non-Immigrant Visa (“ED”, “ED PLUS”, “B”) who are eligible to apply for extension of stay must submit the following documents to their department or International Affairs Office (IAO) at least one month before the expiration of the visa:

Required Documents (Non-ED Visa)

• Copies of passport and Non-ED visa information
• Copy of TM.30 (Notification of Residence)
• Copy of TM.6 (Departure Card) or TDAC– (if any)
• Copy of Receipt of notify 90 day — (if any)
• Recent photograph

Additional for Non-ED PLUS:

• Copy of Enrollment Receipt (CMR50)
• Copy of CMU Transcript (Excepted the first-year students)
• Copy of Study Progress Report (Excepted the first-year students)
• Copy of Program Curriculum

Required Documents (Non-B Visa)

• Copies of passport and Non-B visa information
• Copy of Work Permit
• Copy of Receipt of Notification (TM.30)
• Copy of TM.6 (Departure Card) or TDAC– (if any)
• Copy of Receipt of notify 90 day — (if any)
• Recent photograph

The fee for each visa extension is 1,900 Baht paid to Thai Immigration.

Note:

– In the case of foreigners staying beyond the expiration date of the visa or delaying the visa extension process (Overstay), they must be fined and their work permit will be terminated. The minimum charge is 500 Baht per day, reaching a maximum fine of 20,000 Baht (when overstaying 40 or more days) paid to Immigration. They will need to leave Thailand to re-apply for a new visa and a new work permit which will be the same as the one they had before. Faculty of Medicine shall not accept any responsibility for foreigners who submit their extension late.
