DOCTOR OF MEDICINE PROGRAM (MD)

The undergraduate Doctor of Medicine program has been conducted by employing the concept of problem-based, student-centered learning with the help of high-technology learning aids. Medical graduates are fully equipped with the 21st century skills necessary for effective regional and global deployment.

Each year, about 250 new students enter the six-year Doctor of Medicine program at our faculty. A significant proportion of these students have been recruited from prominent high schools in the 17 provinces of the northern region of Thailand through various academic routes on a competitive basis. After graduation, the majority of these doctors return, to provide standard medical services, to their original communities.
