• Cyst, mature, uninucleated, in stool specimen, Iodine-stained
• Ovoidal,10-16 micrometer in diameter
• Note a large and sharply demarcated glycogen vacuole in cytoplasm
• Single nucleus with large refractile irregular karyosome
