Research interest
Our lab is interested in the antimicrobial resistance and virulence of extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) producing Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Especially, the contribution of ESBL plasmids in multidrug resistance, tolerance to disinfectants, and virulence. We also work on understanding the physiological adaptation, including respiratory metabolism. growth and survival, and antimicrobial tolerance, of Burkholderia thailandensis in response to changing environments.
Short biography
Dr. Deeudom is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine at Chiang Mai University. His B.S. degree is in Microbiology from Chiang Mai University.
