Research interest

My research interest is mainly focused on the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in Gram negative bacteria in three aspects;

  1. the association of mobile genetic element and resistance genes involved in horizontal transfer among intra-and inter genus of Gram negative bacteria.
  2. Identification of active compounds in Thai medicinal plants with the antibacterial activity against antibiotic resistant bacteria.
  3. Transcriptomics and proteomics of bacteria in the response to active compounds in Thai medicinal plants.
