Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voraporn Chaikitmongkol, Department of Ophthalmology Faculty of Medicine Chiang Mai University received the APAO Achievement Award and Best Scientific Paper Award at The 39th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Congress, February 22-25, 2024 in Bali, Indonesia.

• The APAO Achievement Award is awarded to those who play academic roles in conferences, such as being an invited symposium presentation speaker, chairing or coordinating a lecture program. (chair/coordinator of invited program) is the person presenting research results (scientific paper presentation) continuously in accordance with the evaluation criteria set by the committee.

• The Best Scientific Paper Award was awarded for presenting research on Greater Reduction in Pigment Epithelial Detachment Size With Faricimab vs Aflibercept During Head-to-Head Dosing in Eyes With Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
