Fly research cluster focuses on medically and forensically importance flies which comprises of three main families including Calliphoridae (blow flies), Sarcophagidae (flesh flies), and Muscidae (house flies and relatives). In Thailand, application of fly knowledge is limit.

Current research study which we are deal with is about the biology of flies, fly identification by morphology, morphometric, and molecular. In addition, we conduct on fly survey to increase more basic knowledge for medical and forensically application. Over a few decades, our cluster published more than 100 publications and has cooperated with domestic and international networks, such as Japan, Germany, the United States, and Malaysia, etc.
