Erasmus Plus

Erasmus+ is the EU’s program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The mobility activities are meant to produce one or more of the following outcomes:

  1. Expose students to different views, knowledge, teaching and research. methods as well as work practices in their study field in the European and international context.
  2. Develop their transversal skills such as communication skills, language skills, critical thinking, problem solving, inter-cultural skills and research skills
  3. Develop their scientific skills and knowledge, especially in the research areas that lacks of experts in Thailand.
  4. Enhance the faculty’s academic and research collaboration.
  5. Support the university’s Global Strategy:
  6. Engage with the faculty’s international stakeholders

Student must show English score or proof of English skills (B2 level or equivalents or the letter from your organization verifying that the participant has sufficient language skills to “function on a day-to-day basis in the internship environment”)

Who Is Eligible?

  1. This grant is for Postgraduate students (Thai and non-Thai) who are enrolled at Faculty of Medicine, CMU and do not already live in destination country before the mobility.
  2. Funding is for research travel; retroactive requests will not be considered.
  3. Students who have already received scholarships that cover international traveling, such as a research travel grant or other similar grants, are not eligible to apply.

Selection criteria

  1. Cohesiveness of the study or research plan
  2. Direct impact travel will have on the research/study
  3. Strength of the letters of recommendation

The grant covers

  1. Flight tickets
  2. Stipend and accommodation

Submission

  2. Mini research proposal (not exceed 2 pages)
  3. Acceptance letter from host organization/ an e-mail or unofficial letter from a host professor is acceptable:
  4. A copy of the program for the training/workshop/short course/laboratory information
  5. English score or proof of English skills (B2 level or equivalents or the letter from host organization verifying that the participant has sufficient language skills to “function on a day-to-day basis in the internship environment”)
  6. A curriculum vitae (CV) (not exceed 2 pages)

Important information!!

  1. Please inform professors at the destination institution’s staff when you contact them that this is one process of applying for a funded traineeship and you have not been nominated from CMU yet.
